Inventory & Shipping/Receiving Manager

Upon my arrival at Sloomoo Institute, I witnessed its immense success since its 2019 popup inception, prompting a decision to establish a permanent home in Soho and expand with three new locations by year-end. However, the operational framework was still akin to a popup, lacking inventory management software and relying on manual inventory counts. Recognizing the need for change, I swiftly took charge.

Collaborating with the procurement manager and COO, I crafted tailored demos and pricing structures, ultimately implementing Fishbowl Inventory Management to replace outdated practices. Simultaneously, I spearheaded a comprehensive warehouse restructuring with the production team, enhancing efficiency, functionality, and overall output.

My responsibilities extended to meticulous inventory auditing in Shopify, where I also created Product Description Pages (PDPs) for items from international vendors. Leading a dedicated team of 2-3 individuals, I oversaw the sorting and quality control of incoming and existing inventory and the organized distribution of outgoing packages to USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. My commitment to operational excellence and strategic leadership played a pivotal role in transforming Sloomoo Institute into a thriving and well-organized establishment.
